Using the blog.

To the right you will notice different sections of the blog.  You will see "Websites," "Weekly Specials," "Upcoming Events," and "About Mrs. Kopitzke."

Students will utilize the blog in school throughout the week to view the updates and access websites. Websites will be added throughout the year that will help them extend their learning and practice skills both at school and at home.

The schedule for specials is posted so you and your child know what to expect throughout the week.  This will remain the same for the entire school year. All students should have wellness shoes to wear in the gym and an art shirt.

I will do my best to keep the events for each month posted so you can plan ahead. Please see the calendar in your child's Take Home Folder as well. Everything will be kept up-to-date in there.

Welcome to Second Grade! I am excited to be your child's teacher! I look forward to an adventurous school year with lots of fun and learning. You will want to bookmark this blog or subscribe to emails (by entering it in the box to the right) to check back often to see what's happening in our classroom! I hope you will find this helpful throughout the school year.
